Kim Avery, identified as librarian, and Sandy Hiatt presented a library proposal at the Sept. 3 Mendon Township meeting seeking roughly $75,000 for work the library plans to undertake. Sandy Hiatt said the request was for "around $75,000" and that the library has some funds of its own to contribute.
