The Hackberry Elementary School District #3 Governing Board on Sept. 9 approved a Student Council mission statement after the Student Council President and Vice President presented the statement to the board. The item was moved to the start of the meeting; the board approved the mission statement by a recorded vote of 3-0 (motion by Pam Adams, second by Leanne Donason).
