The Coffee County Capital Outlay Committee voted June 4 to adopt additional rules governing political signs at the CCAP building after grounds maintenance raised concerns about the number of signs and how long they remain in place. Commissioner Tim Brown moved to accept the proposed additional rules; Commissioner Frank Watkins seconded. The motion passed with Brown, Watkins, Terry Hershman and Tina Reed voting yes and Commissioner Jimmy Hollandsworth voting no.
