The Wilson County Planning Commission voted on May 22, 2026, to defer consideration of the Deer Creek Estates sketch plan (proposed 146 lots at 13530 Central Pike) until the December 2026 meeting. Engineer Jake Porter asked for the deferral so the developer could obtain accurate traffic‑study data that reflects traffic patterns after the new Central Pike Elementary School opens; the developer agreed to pay the requested fees.
