On Jan. 16, 2026, the Wilson County Planning Commission voted 6-3 to recommend a Land Use Plan amendment and rezoning for a roughly 16.1-acre parcel at Spickard Road and McCrary Road (Parcel 33.02, Tax Map 122) from low-density residential (R-1) to medium/high-density and medium/high-intensity commercial (C-4), advancing the application to the County Commission in March.
