Lancaster County recognizes 2025 Leadership Academy graduates

Lancaster County commissioners set aside time at their Jan. 13 meeting to recognize graduates of the 2025 Lancaster County Leadership Academy.
Stephanie Mitchell, content designer and facilitator for the program, said the academy followed a quarter‑based curriculum that emphasized self‑awareness, leadership identity, resiliency and networking with county leaders. Mitchell said the program prepared participants to enter the county’s leadership pipeline.
Commissioners individually congratulated graduates as the chair called names in alphabetical order and presented certificates. Commissioners emphasized that investing in leadership development supports county services; Commissioner Rick Best told graduates the county relies on high‑quality employees to carry out its work.
The recognition concluded with applause and group photographs; commissioners then resumed the regular meeting agenda.
