Mapleton Local board hears math coaching, teacher-grant and athletics updates
During its May 12 meeting the board received program updates including a mathematics report from Tri-County ESC coaches, Title I-A and federal program updates, presentations of Teacher Innovator Grant projects and a spring athletics update; administrators also outlined upcoming events and student activities.

Board members heard several program and administrative updates early in the May 12 meeting. Tri-County ESC math coaches Jill Kelly and Katie Kirkpatrick provided a mathematics update; Skip Fulton reported on Title I-A and other federal program activity and staff presented Teacher Innovator Grant projects (Aimee Turchyn, Monica Ralph, John Royski, Tessa Gilmer, Cassie Swanson and student Josey Hansford). Cory Runkle delivered a spring athletics update and said fall sports schedules are nearly complete.
