At a glance: Burke County votes — Feb. meeting

At its meeting the Burke County Board of Commissioners approved two major ordinances (building-code and zoning updates), accepted reports and routine financial items, made advisory appointments, adopted a resolution to sell surplus library books to the foundation, and directed staff to repost three surplus parcels after bids failed to meet reserves. Most actions passed unanimously (5-0).
