The Town of Castle Valley Planning and Land Use Commission approved an updated nonroutine solar energy system permit application form at its July 10 meeting, adding a question about number of panels to help staff classify routine versus nonroutine permits. Commissioners also flagged a legal and technical ambiguity in the town’s ordinance regarding the 10-kilowatt cutoff.
