Shawnee County approves maternity home and assisted‑living conditional use permits
The commissioners approved two conditional use permits at their Jan. 12 meeting: a maternity group residence proposed by The Villages at 7220 SW 10th St. and a 'home plus care' assisted‑living facility (Bee's Place) at 738 NE 43rd St.; both had prior planning commission approval and passed the board 3–0.
