Resident backs county's decision on Transource, urges solar and tighter bus security
At the July 1 Franklin County commissioners meeting, public commenter Valerie Jordan praised the board's decision to stop litigation involving Transource, argued that regional grid interconnections make solar attractive for some local users, and asked county staff to secure Rabbit minibuses after catalytic converter thefts; HR staff said they are coordinating with Rabbit to improve security.

Valerie Jordan, identifying herself with SAFAL during the public comment period, told the Franklin County Board of Commissioners that she supported the board's decision to stop the county's lawsuit related to Transource. "You made the right decision to stop whatever lawsuit you had going on with Transource," Jordan said.
