At its Aug. 1, 2024 regular meeting, the Spring City Mayor and Board of Commissioners voted 3–2 to approve Resolution 2024‑14, authorizing the town to apply to the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development for a video production co‑op. Commissioner Reba Murphy moved the measure and Commissioner Jody Bauer seconded it.
