Lancaster County commissioners authorize testimony, take positions on multiple state bills
At a Feb. 5 staff meeting the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners reviewed dozens of 2026 legislative measures, authorized testimony on several county priorities including LB859 and LB826, and voted to oppose ballot and tax-growth cap proposals; the board also approved letters opposing measures it says raise fiscal or insurance exposure.
