During the public-participation portion of the Feb. 9 meeting, Cynthia Cornett, identified in the minutes as a Mapleton resident, addressed the board with concerns about transparency and community engagement. Cornett cited issues including public notice of meetings, executive session procedures, access to supporting materials, and compliance with Ohios Sunshine Law; she offered recommendations intended to strengthen trust and public access.
