Finally, the commission appointed Mayor Arthur Penny to serve as South Pasadena’s voting delegate at the Florida League of Cities annual conference scheduled for Aug. 13–15, 2026, in Hollywood, Florida; the appointment was moved, seconded and approved by the commission.
Each of the motions was presented as routine and passed without extended discussion; the commission then adjourned for a summer hiatus with the reminder that meetings could be called if needed.
