Rowe selectmen set public-hearing plan for Hazelton Road bridge replacement, warn disruptive abutter

The Rowe Board of Selectmen on Aug. 1 said it will hold a public hearing on a proposed Hazelton Road bridge replacement once engineering plans are complete and will work with counsel to notify an "angry abutter" that disruptive behavior may prompt town action; vice-chair also asked that police-detail costs be built into engineering bids.

The Rowe Board of Selectmen on Aug. 1 agreed to hold a public hearing on a proposed replacement of the Hazelton Road bridge once the town’s engineer delivers a final plan. Chair Joanne Semanie said the hearing will include town and state officials, the highway superintendent, police representatives and abutting property owners so residents can ask questions and raise concerns.
