Board hears nursing update; Rowe described as low WNV risk, remote EEE risk
Town nurse activity, community walking-club participation, a tick shoe-spray event on Aug. 20, and regional arbovirus surveillance (WNV and EEE) were presented; Rowe was characterized as low risk for West Nile virus and remote risk for Eastern Equine Encephalitis.

At the Aug. 7 meeting of the Rowe Board of Health, Chair Herb Butzke read the town nursing report showing that the nurse worked 10 days in July and saw 108 patients.
