Commission backs rezoning and approves Wright’s Gymnastics plan after waiver for driveway alignment
The commission forwarded a favorable recommendation for ZA 2601 (rezoning 2.27 acres to C2) and approved DPR 26-04 for Wright's Gymnastics (approx. 22,000 sq. ft.) along with a waiver to allow a Kingston Street driveway aligned with an existing driveway about 80 feet from the Kingston–Dover intersection; staff and the petitioner said the revised dumpster location and landscaping address prior BZA concerns.

The Avon Advisory Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of ZA 2601, a zoning map amendment to rezone 2.27 acres (Lot 13, 8170 Kingston Street) from a split I2/C2 designation to exclusively C2, and then approved DPR 26-04 (Wright’s Gymnastics) and a related waiver for driveway spacing.
