The Ingham County Board of Commissioners on May 26 adopted changes to the county’s 9‑1‑1 Service Plan (Resolution #26-274) to reflect current systems, technical suppliers, and operational practice. The amended plan designates Ingham County Central Dispatch, operated as a division of the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, as the primary public safety answering point (PSAP) for the county and confirms the county’s Phase II compliance on the Michigan 9‑1‑1 ESInet.
