County project update: animal shelter moves forward; $1.6M IEDC ready grant expected

Miss Parker updated the council on June 9 on the county’s animal shelter project, reporting that property conveyance steps by IvyTech are underway and that Patriot Engineering completed geotechnical sampling the same morning. She said mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings are nearly complete and that civil engineering work began after survey results arrived.
