The Renick R‑V Board of Education met in regular session on Oct. 14, 2025, and approved its meeting agenda and consent agenda while receiving informational updates on curriculum and facilities.
Chair Josh Taylor called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Committee member Tyler Cleeton moved to approve the agenda; Richelle Gobel seconded and the motion carried 6‑0 as recorded. Later, Richelle Gobel moved to approve the consent agenda, Tyler Cleeton seconded and that motion carried 7‑0.
Presentations were listed as information only. Ella McCallum provided a Title I reading update. Regina McDonald presented on second‑grade programming, and Ashley Willingham reported on preschool; the minutes record those items as information only and do not request board action. The board also noted that all board members have completed required board member training.
Under old business, the board recorded that the Eagle Scout project and the playground fence project are complete; the minutes note that Will Befort will present on the Eagle Scout project at the November meeting. CSIP and scoreboard items were recorded as information only.
Superintendent Jeana Calloway‑Hodson presented routine finance-by-fund and ledger updates and an "as‑of‑today" standing report; a facilities report was also provided, both for informational purposes. Principal Danell Rice’s principal report was listed as information only.
The board scheduled its next regular meeting for Nov. 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., with a CSIP meeting at 5:30 p.m. Brenda Hubert moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:39 p.m.; Richelle Gobel seconded and the motion carried 7‑0.
The minutes list Karen Williams as Board Secretary and Jeana Calloway‑Hodson as superintendent. No formal policy changes, budgets or contractual awards were acted on at this session.
