The Riverside Township Committee on April 20 authorized Change Order No. 1 for the Sylvan Street, Pavilion Avenue and Litle Avenue improvements with Earle Asphalt Company.
Town documents presented at the meeting show the original contract amount of $349,013.13 and a change order decrease of $1,487.14, producing an adjusted contract total of $347,525.99. The change order covers final quantity adjustments and the installation of additional stamped crosswalks across Pavilion Avenue.
The township engineer reviewed and approved the change order; the resolution certifying the adjustment was adopted by the committee and certified by the municipal clerk. The change order was described in the meeting packet as a contract decrease and no additional departmental funding requests were discussed during the meeting.
Work on the identified streets will proceed under the adjusted contract terms and the township will track final quantities and payments through its capital account records.
