The Government Audit and Oversight Committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors held a compliance hearing on Assembly Bill 2561 and Government Code section 3502.3 on July 2, 2026, and voted to file the matter without further action. Clerk Monique Creighton read the item, which concerns city and county efforts on vacancies, recruitment and retention. Chair Supervisor Steven Sherrill moved to file the hearing; the clerk recorded the vote and the motion passed.
