Developer asks Howard County to rezone 11-acre Gateway parcel from B-2 to M-1
Howard Research and Development asked the Howard County zoning hearing examiner to recommend rezoning about 11.01 acres at 9121 South Commerce Center Drive from B-2 retail to M-1 light industrial, arguing the parcel has remained vacant for decades, technical staff and the Gateway Master Plan favor industrial uses, and the 2003/2014 zoning was a mistake.
