At the January meeting council ratified multiple rezonings affected by a state notice-change, approved first readings on Lafayette Crossing and Horizon Center rezonings (each passed 5–2), reinserted compensatory-time language into the personnel ordinance (final adoption 7–0), and approved several resolutions including a $100,000 Olson Group emergency management contract, acceptance of TDOT's Edgemoor Road project, a $723,104 vehicle purchase and a $65,000 Davenport revenues study.
