Plattsburg High School staff presented a summary of Career Pathways and career-technical education options at the July 17 Clinton County R-III board meeting.
Dr. Brandon Burns described three primary pathways—Family and Consumer Sciences, Business and Marketing, and Agriculture and Industrial Arts—and reviewed the course offerings associated with each. He also outlined the district’s participation in Kauffman RWL and the Clinton County CAPS program, and identified staff serving on the CAPS and RWL teams. The presentation focused on curriculum alignment and workforce-readiness goals; no vote or formal board action was recorded on the presentation itself.
