The River Ridge board authorized a capital purchase for traffic-calming equipment at its Nov. 19 meeting. Mr. Willis presented AV-Tech estimates including a $74,000 proposal to wire and install three permanent 15" solar-powered digital speed radar signs, cloud-device licensing at $1,500 per device per year, and a $25,000 mobile unit option. Mr. Long told the board that the existing unit had recorded about 800 varied speeding violations over a three-week period.
