The Clinton County R-III Board of Education certified the district's election results and administered oaths of office at a regular meeting on April 16, 2025, in the Middle School library in Plattsburg.
Dr. Sandy Steggall read the certified results and the board voted 7-0 to certify them. The superintendent then administered oaths to newly elected members Keith Carnie (one-year term), Danny Parra (two-year term) and Travis Day (two-year term).
Following the oaths, the board reorganized its leadership. Travis Day moved to elect Keith Carnie as board president; Nick Wade seconded the motion and it passed 7-0. Danny Parra moved to elect Travis Day as vice president; Nick Wade seconded and that vote also carried 7-0.
The actions formalize leadership ahead of the district's ongoing work on capital and financial planning. The meeting record shows the board moved directly into regular session after electing officers and proceeded with routine business and reports later in the agenda.
