A district staff member said the school board adopted Board Policy 2130 on emerging technologies more than a year ago and stressed the districtis taking a "human centric" approach, adding that "AI should never replace human interaction or critical thinking." The staff member said the policy is intended to keep tools "at our teachers' fingertips" while preserving the primacy of strong classroom instruction.
