Douglas County VHR advisory board lists code priorities: parking passes, violations, insurance and lockoffs

Advisory board members discussed a list of potential code changes and administrative priorities for 2026, including whether parking passes should apply to single‑family neighborhoods, revising the number/weighting of violations that trigger revocation, simplifying insurance requirements and clarifying rules for lockoffs and scooters. Staff said a Title 20 rewrite is not expected to make substantive VHR changes but the board can forward recommendations to the BOCC.
