Spring Brook board approves Elk Mound Fire District agreement, awards tree-trimming contract and LED retrofit
The Spring Brook Town Board on March 10 accepted a Restated Memorandum of Understanding with the Elk Mound Fire District and passed Resolution #2025-01 to create a joint fire district, approved a $15,900 tree-trimming contract for 4.7 lane miles, and authorized an LED lighting retrofit with rebate filings.

The Spring Brook Town Board accepted a Restated Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement with the Elk Mound Fire District and approved Resolution #2025-01 to create a joint fire district. Supervisors Mike Hase and Jerry Hotchkiss moved to accept the agreement; both the acceptance and the resolution passed unanimously by roll call vote.
