The Planning Board endorsed an ANR conveying land between 26 and 30 Swan Road after staff confirmed both resulting lots remain conforming. The endorsement was made by motion and approved by voice vote.
Members also agreed to send a short supportive letter to the Worcester County Community Preservation (WCCP) committee recommending funding for tree plantings at four public parks, including Elliot Park in the downtown business district. The board authorized the chair or the liaison to draft and send the letter to the grant program.
On planning priorities and budget, members noted the planning department has a modest amount of discretionary funds for FY27 and discussed whether to prioritize master-plan follow-up work or light-industrial study tasks. Staff and members agreed to bring specific costed proposals back to the board for decision.
The meeting closed with routine calendar and staff-performance items and a motion to adjourn.
