The Kossuth County Conservation Board voted Sept. 8 to set maximum accrual limits for employee compensatory time.
The board reviewed a compensation-time policy approved in June 2000 and, after discussion, approved a motion by Ristau, seconded by Miller, to set maximum accumulation at 200 hours for the Operations Supervisor, Maintenance Technician and Director and 100 hours for the Naturalist and Office Manager. The motion passed unanimously.
Meeting notes state the action responds to a requirement that the board establish maximum compensatory time accruals; the board did not record changes to payout rules or the date at which the new caps take effect.
