Governance Committee votes to split school system technology policy into two documents

The Fairfax County School Board Governance Committee voted June 16 to split its draft technology policy into (1) a use-of-educational-technology policy and (2) an innovation/instructional-technology policy (AI and emerging tech). The motion, moved by Dr. Anderson and seconded by Mr. Frisch, passed and set out tasks for a June 23 work session and summer committee work.
