Clerk (Speaker 3) handed out the proposed 2027 budget schedule and highlighted critical dates for council action: the Aug. 4 meeting for distribution of proposed budgets (form 1), the Aug. 18 meeting to review budget forms, a second September meeting designated as the public hearing and first reading of the budget ordinance (form 4), the first October meeting for final budget adoption and first reading of salary ordinances, and the second October meeting for adoption of salary ordinances.
