Springfield Planning Board approves two minor subdivisions

At its Oct. 16, 2025, meeting in the Springfield Memorial Building, the Town of Springfield Planning Board unanimously approved final minor subdivision plans for land at Sanborn Hill and Old Grafton Road.
Applicant Sean Gaherty presented the final plan for property at Sanborn Hill; the board found the submission complete, and John Trachy moved to approve the plan, seconded by Jen Roberts. The board recorded the vote as unanimous. Applicant Clayton Platt presented a subdivision plan for land on Old Grafton Road; Dan Saulnier recorded completion of the checklist, the application was accepted as complete (motion to accept moved by Jen Roberts and seconded by Ken Jacques), and the board voted to approve the plan after a motion by Jen Roberts and second by Dan Saulnier. The minutes record the approval votes as unanimous for both subdivision approvals.
The board also approved the minutes for the Sept. 18, 2025 meeting. John Trachy moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Dan Saulnier; all members voted in affirmation except Darren Patten, who abstained.
No appeals, conditions, or specific plan amendments are recorded in the minutes for either subdivision; the minutes present both approvals as routine findings of completeness followed by motions to approve. The meeting adjourned at 9:06 p.m.; the board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Nov. 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Memorial Building.
