At their Aug. 5 meeting the Surry selectmen reviewed two building-permit matters and a septic approval. Courtney Davis updated the board on a building permit for a metal storage structure on Route 12; the selectmen declined to extend the permit and noted that the Hagstrom septic design linked to the project has been approved by the State. The board asked Davis to contact the fire department to schedule a gas-heater inspection.
