County approves IT renewals for antivirus and cloud backup contracts

A commissioner asked whether the antivirus renewal had budget coverage; Thompson and staff confirmed the renewal is budgeted. The board voted to approve the one‑year renewal for antivirus/patch management and the three‑year Wasabi renewal by voice vote.
Thompson said she had compared one‑year and three‑year options and recommended the three‑year Wasabi renewal to provide budget predictability. The board carried the motions and thanked Thompson for the presentation.
