During the Planning Commission’s public‑comment period May 12, resident Paul Menzie of Mountain Street said he had asked the building inspector to inspect his sidewalk and questioned whether municipal ordinance language that "property owners retain ownership of the sidewalk spaces and are therefore responsible for their maintenance" applies when title or survey lines do not clearly show ownership.
