Residents press for data-center moratorium; judge says Planning Commission will set timetable

At the June 23 Fiscal Court meeting, several residents asked the court to place an immediate moratorium on data-center development in Henderson County. Cindy Bickwermert asked that one of the magistrates request a moratorium during the meeting; Judge/Executive Brad Schneider said he had explained earlier why that could not be done that day and reiterated it would not be done at the meeting.
