Salt Point Cemetery asks Pleasant Valley for mowing help as operating funds run low
Salt Point Cemetery trustees told the board the cemetery ran a roughly $4,000 deficit last year and urged the town to consider statutory assistance for mowing and maintenance before the town would be required by state law to assume the cemetery.

Representatives of Salt Point Cemetery told the Pleasant Valley Town Board on July 6 that the cemetery is operating at a deficit and will exhaust operating funds within roughly two to three years without additional revenue or assistance.
