Miss King told the court she and the appraisal district have been demoing collections software and asked the court to set aside $250,000 so the county is ready to fund a new collections package when procurement begins in spring. “If you want a good software, that's what you're looking at,” she said, noting the county's last material upgrade was about 20 years ago.
