Washington posts spring road weight limits under Ordinance #93:011

The Town of Washington’s ordinance (No. 93:011) on Spring Road Load Limit Posting states that, except as provided in Section V, it is unlawful to operate any motor vehicle weighing more than six tons on any limited‑weight street or highway from March 1 or as otherwise deemed necessary.
The ordinance authorizes the Road Agent to issue special permits, after consulting with the Select Board, for vehicles exceeding six tons when the Road Agent and Select Board determine the vehicle will not cause unusual damage to the highway. Exceptions listed in the ordinance include occasional delivery vehicles servicing residences and permitted businesses transporting empty vehicles between their place of business and New Hampshire Routes 31 and 10.
