Ordinance #93:011 prohibits operation of motor vehicles over six tons on limited-weight streets beginning March 1 (or as deemed necessary). The Road Agent may issue special permits after consulting the Select Board; delivery and some business movements are excepted.

The Town of Washington’s ordinance (No. 93:011) on Spring Road Load Limit Posting states that, except as provided in Section V, it is unlawful to operate any motor vehicle weighing more than six tons on any limited‑weight street or highway from March 1 or as otherwise deemed necessary.
