The RFQ timeline calls for issuing the solicitation publicly, allowing about a month for proposals, and a response deadline in early August. Board members discussed who should serve on proposal-review panels — the select board, town staff, or a public steering committee — and noted that the scope and frequency of consultant check‑ins would affect cost and contract structure.
After discussion the board moved to accept the RFQ and direct staff to insert the standard town contract before posting; the motion was made by Peter and seconded by Jean and carried by recorded voice vote at the meeting.
