Val Verde County court approves $2.1 million borrowing plan for road resurfacing
The court approved borrowing $2.1 million to fund full overlays and repaving across precincts, to be repaid in part from precinct operating budgets; funds were described as materials-only (asphalt/chip seal) and not for pothole repair or equipment. Vote was unanimous 4-0.
