Public works reports completed Anita Street drainage work and two small sewer problems found in smoke testing
Town public works reported six rain events in June totaling 4.8 inches, completion of a 175-foot drainage grade on Anita Street, two small issues found in sewer smoke testing, two minor SCADA lift-station alarms, and a pump replacement at Horry lift station; punch-list items on a sewer project remain outstanding.

At the July 6 meeting Mayor Rhodes read the public works report for June: the town recorded six rain events totaling 4.8 inches; smoke testing on several streets identified two small issues; crews repaired several subsurface drainage washouts and completed grading 175 feet of drainage ditch on Anita Street. "We had 6 rain events for 4.8 inches," Mayor Rhodes said.
