The parks and recreation committee told the selectmen the retaining wall at a town park was damaged in a vehicle collision and that the town’s insurance provider has declined coverage, leaving the town to pursue payment from the at-fault driver’s insurer. The committee member reported an estimated cost “almost $35,000” to replace all the blocks, and asked whether the existing blocks could be reused.
