Board continues housing trust fund charter amendment to July 14 after discussion
Supervisors discussed a charter amendment to increase required annual funding to the housing trust fund and to extend its sunset date; the board agreed to continue the measure to July 14 for further review.

On July 7 the San Francisco Board of Supervisors took up a charter amendment to increase the amount the city must appropriate annually to the housing trust fund, extend its sunset date from July 1, 2043 to July 1, 2058, and allow temporary freezes or reductions under specified circumstances. The measure was continued to the board’s July 14 meeting.
