Dodge County approves two subdivision conditional‑use permits, one request continued

The Dodge County Board of Supervisors approved two conditional‑use permits (CUPs) Dec. 23 for small subdivisions in agricultural zoning districts after the Planning Commission recommended approval in both cases.
At 9:27 a.m., the Board approved the Volline VonSeggern Family Trust's request to subdivide a 17.93‑acre tract in Cuming Township and to permit an existing dwelling as a conditional use; County Surveyor Clark Boschult reported the Dodge County Planning Commission had voted 7–0 to recommend approval. The Board approved the CUP contingent on the trust filing a No‑Fee Residential Registration Permit.
At 9:30 a.m., the Board approved a CUP for Faltin Joint Venture to subdivide 10.70 acres in Webster Township for a proposed dwelling; the Planning Commission had also recommended approval 7–0. Supervisor Strand abstained from the vote on the Faltin matter. The Board also noted Scott Real Estate Services' request to subdivide 5.14 acres was continued by the Planning Commission and will appear on the Jan. 20, 2026 agenda.
