Obetz adopts harmonized utility rate schedule and accepts sewer easement
Obetz council consolidated water, sewer and refuse charges into a single rate schedule, updated tap fees and sewer-capacity charges via Ordinance 20-26, and accepted a sanitary sewer easement along Industrial Center Drive via Ordinance 19-26; both ordinances were adopted unanimously as emergencies.

At its March 23 meeting the Obetz City Council adopted Ordinance 20-26 to harmonize and codify charges for water, sewer and refuse service onto a single rate schedule and to update tap fees and sewer-capacity charges. City Administrator Rod Davisson said the ordinance does not raise the commodity rate beyond the recent update but consolidates charges and revises tap fees.
